Google Plus – Read the Fine Print BEFORE You Sign Up.

Good article on licensing of YOUR photos.  After review and further research I will not be adding a Google+ account until the time the TOS is adapted in a way where professional photographers who earn income from their work is not infringed upon.  Good article with a outtake including the area of the TOS that effect pro photographers.

Each can make their own decision.

There’s Only One Thing You Really Need To Be A Competent Photographer

There’s Only One Thing You Really Need To Be A Competent Photographer.  PASSION – This is so true.  The author states that the rest will come if you have this to start and if not the rest does not matter.  I have had the passion for years starting as a child and a 110 Kodak instamatic; shooting for my high school on the yearbook staff; in college for the fun of it; at work as a fire investigator both public and private; to train both domestic and international clients in crime scene operations in “unique” environments; for work to document our work product for a training & consulting firm and now for my photography clients to bring them Professional photography for a lifetime of memories.  Did I mention I still have the Passion and love photography?

Tips on How to Shoot Amazing Interior Photography – PictureCorrect.  With both parents who have spent years in real estate and a sister who is just embarking on her new career in it I have been exposed (pun intended) to real estate my entire life.  Yes I was one of those 5 year old kids quietly in the corner while the Realtor was showing you your potential new home.

Growing up with that in my experiences, I learned much about real estate including how homes are staged best to sell.  This article gives you some nice tips on how to make your real estate photos gain the edge needed to move in a stalled market.
